Biography

Early life

Leong was born Liang Jing 
Kang on January 3, 1994 in Shenzhen in the Guangdong province of China. He attended South China Institute of Software Engineering in Guangzhou University. In college, he began modelling and filming advertisements.

 Career

In 2017, Leong appeared as a customer to Huang Lei's character in Midnight Diner and had a supporting role in the historical comedy Huang Fei Hong.[1]The same year, he starred in the film Cat Lover directed by He Zhi Yi.[2] Leong began appearing regularly on the Youku variety show Chao Ci Yuan Ou Xiang(超次元偶像) with Dylan Wang.[1] In November 2017, he and his Meteor Garden (2018) costars Dylan Wang, Darren Chen, and Caesar Wu appeared in Harper's Bazaar China  His role as Feng Mei Zuo was announced at a press conference in Shanghai.[4]

2016–2017: Beginnings

Chen made his acting debut as Lin Yutang in the Chinese television series Proud of Love (2016), as the main role. In 2017, he starred in season 2 of Proud of Love where he played the role of Lin Yutang.[3] He appeared in Harper's Bazaar China with his Meteor Garden 2018 costars Dylan WangConnor Leong, and Caesar Wu on 6 November 2017.[4]

Early life and education

Wang was born on 20 December 1998 in ChengduSichuan Province of China. He studied in school to become a flight attendant. He became the poster model for admission at Sichuan Southwest College of Civil Aviation, and also apparently became a professional image spokesperson for flight attendants. He graduated from Sichuan Southwest College of Civil Aviation. He debuted in showbiz before fully realising the life of a flight attendant

2016–2017: Beginnings

In 2016, Wang won an award at the "Sichuan Campus Red Festival " (四川校园红人盛典), a ceremony sponsored by several universities and colleges, and officially entered the entertainment industry.[9][10]
In June 2017, Wang participated in the Youku variety show Super Idol (超次元偶像) hosted by He Jiong, and emerged as the final winner.[11][12] Wang appeared in Harper's Bazaar China with his Meteor Garden 2018costars Darren Chen, Connor Leong, and Caesar Wu on 6 November 2017.[13]

Early life and education

Shen Yue was born on 27 February 1997 in ShaoyangHunan province of China. She studied Journalism and Communication at the Hunan Normal University in 2014. During her second year in college, her photographer friend posted a photo of her online, which attracted the attention of her future agent.

Beginnings

Shen made her acting debut as Zeng Zhi in the Chinese television series Autumn Harvest Uprising in 2017. In the same year, she played a supporting role as Xiao Yue in the fantasy comedy television series Let's Shake It and was selected as the female lead for the campus romance drama A Love So Beautiful.[4]

Shen rose to fame with her role as Chen Xiaoxi in the 2017 popular web series A Love So Beautiful alongside actor Hu Yitian, based on the novel To Our Pure Little Beauty by Zhao Gangan, which aired on Tencent Video in November 9, 2017

         Boys over Flowers (花より男子はなよりだんご Hana Yori Dango), officially abbreviated as Hana-dan (花男),[2] is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoko Kamio. The manga was published in the magazine, Margaret by Shueisha from March 1992 to August 2003.[1] Viz Media licensed the series for release in North America.[3] Kamio began a sequel manga in February 2015.[4]
The series was first adapted into a series of audio dramas in 1993.[5][2] It was followed by a 1995 film and a 1996 anime series.[1] The manga was also made into several television series, including Meteor Garden (2001) in Taiwan,[6]Hana Yori Dango (2005) in Japan,[7] and Boys Over Flowers (2009) in South Korea.[8] In 2018, a Chinese production of the manga premiered.[9]
Boys Over Flowers follows Tsukushi Makino, a commoner at the elite school, Eitoku Academy. Her life changes when she angers Tsukasa Domyoji, the leader of the F4. He ends up falling in love with her.

Premise

Tsukushi Makino, a second-year student, comes from a poor family, but attends the rich and prestigious school, Eitoku Academy. The school is ruled by the F4, four handsome sons of billionaires, who bully anyone who defies them. Tsukushi attempts to ignore their antics, until her friend anger their leader, Tsukasa Domyoji. She stands up for her friend and receives a red card, the F4's "declaration of war". Tsukushi is then constantly bullied by the other students and Tsukasa, who sends goons to scare her. The F4's mysterious member, Rui Hanazawa saves her and Tsukushi begins to have feelings for him. Meanwhile, Tsukasa begins to harbor a crush on Tsukushi, after she punches him.
Unfortunately for Tsukushi, Rui only holds affections for his first love, Shizuka Todo, who has returned from France. Shizuka declares her freedom from her family and moves back to France. Tsukushi encourages Rui to follow her. In Rui's absence, Tsukasa and Tsukushi begin to grow closer.

Boys Over Flowers was serialized in the manga magazine, Margaret from March 1992 to August 2003. The series reached thirty-six volumes in length by the end of it's run. Yoko Kamio penned a special chapter of the series in 2006 and another two in 2008, leading to the release of the thirty-seventh volume, titled Boys Over Flowers: Jewelry Box by Viz MediaShueisha published all thirty-seven volumes of the manga in Japan, and later reprinted the series into twenty volumes for the "Complete Edition".[1][10] It was licensed and released in North America by Viz Media.[3]
The manga won the 41st Shogakukan Manga Award in the shojo category.[11] It is currently the best-selling shojo manga of all time, having sold over 53 million copies[12] with a total 61 million copies in circulation.[13]
